Our programs are designed for riders of all experience levels. We welcome riders who are willing to work hard and can commit to a regular schedule.
To get started with your riding lessons, follow these easy steps:
Complete the Rising Stars Riding Application below.
Once we review your application, we will contact you to discuss our program and schedule.
After a schedule has been discussed, please complete the following required waivers:
Obtain an appropriate helmet and boots prior to first lesson (see below).
Riders have responsibilities before and after lessons.
Our riding lessons are designed to combine fun with serious riding instruction. Since we work in groups, riders are asked to come to their lesson on time, well rested and with a good attitude. Riders are responsible for grooming and tacking as well as cooling out their horse. This requires that they come at least 20 minutes prior to the lesson start time and are prepared to stay 20 minutes following the lesson.
Proper boots and a helmet are critical to a safe riding experience.
Riders must wear an SEI-approved helmet at all times to protect themselves in case of a fall. We strongly recommend buying your own helmet as soon as possible because proper fit is important for safety but a well-fitting bike helmet will work in the beginning. Riders must wear paddock boots with heels designed to fit safely into the stirrups. We are happy to help you with your selection and recommend the following quality tack stores:
